Twelfth Night in Caid

January 5, 2008

Come enjoy the day as the Barony of Dreiburgen hosts this year’s 12th Night Celebration. This year’s theme is Fun and Games. Throughout the event there will be a number of activities to entertain you. The day will include merchants, games, music, dancing and feasting. If you would like to help out please contact Master Gulliver.

We are especially looking for jugglers and musicians to entertain throughout the day and during the feast.

Throughout the day there will be games available including chess, backgammon, and a variety of other period games. The fine people at the Inn of the Crimson Spade will be overseeing the gaming and there will be opponents for all challengers.

There will be a lunch available for $5.

Meat Kabobs, Vegetable kabobs, both Meat and Vegetable stews, saffron rice, hardboiled eggs, breads, fruits.

We will also have peanut butter & jelly for the kids.

First Remove

Second Remove

  • Ginger Carrots

The feast will be $12. Seating at the feast is limit so reservations are strongly recommended. Reservations should be sent to the autocrat. Confirmations for the feast will be sent by email unless a self-addressed stamped envelop is included with the reservation. The tables we will be using are long and rectangular. They will seat 8. There will be 16 tables. Reservations for groups that arrive together will be seated together. Names of all those attending should be included.

We will be needing servers for the feast. Servers will enjoy the same fare as the feasters but at only the cost of their service.
