From the South: Take the 101 North towards Ventura, get off at Flynn Road and turn right. Park will be on the right hand side From the North: Take the 101 and get off at Exit 53B. Turn left onto E. Ventura Blvd, turn left onto S. Lewis Rd, right onto Adolfo and take the first left onto Flynn.
Event description:
The Shire of Darach cordially invites the Noble Lords and Ladies of Caid to Caid's Fall Crown Tournament. Please join us in the selection of Their Royal Majesties' heirs on Saturday, August 18, 2012, at Pitts Ranch Park in Camarillo, CA Usual Crown requirements will be in affect and the format will be the same as last Spring crown with each fight being best two out of three.

Site fee is $7.00 members, $12.00 non-members; $4.00 for youth (12-17), children under 12 are guests of the shire.

Pets must be on leash. This is a dry site. The site has very little shade, so please bring sunscreen.

Letters of intent will be accepted from Sunday, July 1 until Friday, August 3 at midnight.
All who would fight or be fought for in Crown Tourney should review the requirements as stated in Corpora (Section IV, A-G) and Kingdom Law (Article 3). Corpora can be found at http://www.sca.org/docs/library.html on the Library of Documents page and Kingdom Law can be found at http://seneschal.sca-caid.org/ on the seneschal’s page. The nutshell version is that an individual must 1) be at least 18; 2) be a member; 3) owe primary fealty to Caid; 4) have a name and device registered or in submission; 5)have attended five events; and 6) intend to win the Crown and reign. This is, however, only a synopsis: it is the responsibility of all competitors and consorts to read the above documents and fulfill the requirements.
